Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. She has more than twenty albums. Her music is classified as folk rock as well as alternative rock, but it also has influences from punk funk hip beat and jazz. Ani DiFranco is frequently regarded as the feminist's icon and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the pioneer of DIY music. She was one of the very first musicians to start their own labels in the year 1990.
