Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam and has Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots that go back to the American South. Olivia's parents separated at the age of two. She grew up with her mother who was with the United States Air Force, and her stepfather. Her primary residence was Tokyo, Japan, even when the family moved a lot. In this period, Olivia was a part of several stage productions. In later years, she became an Japanese model. After the family returned back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She started her acting career by playing a minor role. It was then that her acting career began to take off after she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's receptionist. Her show is hosted by G4 podcasts, including "The Daily Nut,"" "Formula D," as well as "Formula D." Her love of surfing has been a constant since the 2006 TV show Beyond the Break. Black belts are hers in Taekwondo. When she was two, her mother remarried. She was married the son of a US Air Force serviceman. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather served. The University of Oklahoma is where she studied journalism with minors in Japanese, drama and dramatic arts.
