Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and performer. The most famous of her role is Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," the comedy television show. She is, however, musician. When she was nine years old of age, she was dabbling into music. When she was 12, music became serious enough for her to begin professional training. Following a few attempts at songwriting, she only recorded her album of covers at the age of fourteen. From then on, she has not ever looked back. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic heritage. To preserve the heritage she's learning Spanish. She also creates songs using the language. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen as a result of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" votes from the judge in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. She was originally a solo performer, but in the course of "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live performances.
